Dungeons and Dragons

 

Because play is a primary way that youth connect, collaborate, engage, and learn, we offer a Dungeons & Dragons for LGBTQ+ youth ages 11-19 every 1st and 3rd Thursday from 6:30-9pm. This play experience leverages fictional characters to help youth try on various qualities and choices that they might not feel comfortable experimenting with in daily life. This activity builds strong social support, builds self-confidence, allows youth to explore their identity safely, and allows participants to express their creativity, problem-solving, and decision-making in real time.
